I was so excited to break this book out of my TBR ( to be read) stack to read. I have heard such good reviews since I bought it so I had to read it next. It lived up to my expectations and I truly enjoyed reading it. The book includes a strong AAPI leading lady, a hunky fireman, a fiesty grandma, influencer bestie and sister, and and endearing family. I loved everything about this book and connected on such a deep level with the characters and story line. I enjoyed all the different topics Amy Lea branched through out the book and while making me fall in love with the chracters , I was doing a deep dive in my own feelings of body positivity and societal stereotypes. And I mean there’s a dog named Albus, what’s not to love about that?! I 💯 recommend this book to everyone!!
